Recent figures suggest that Google’s Android phone operating system is now leading the pack in the US.
Comscore reports that as at the end of May 2011, the Android OS was occupying 38.1% of the market, ahead of Apple’s iOS with 26.6%.
RIM’s share was 24.7%, which, while seemingly good, was in fact down by about 4% from the previous month, and Microsoft’s share was also down, by almost 2%, to just 5.8%.
