It appears that the next version of the iPhone and iPad operating system, iOS 5, which has this week been released to those enrolled in Apple’s developers’ program, will include native support for full HD video.
The 9to5Mac website carries a story telling us that the export strings in the video API of the new release includes support for 1080p resolution, as indicated by their screen capture, shown here.
This means that, for devices that have the hardware support built in, you will be able to shoot videos in full HD and upload them to your favourite video sharing website for all to see.
