Long ago, and in a place far, far away, there was a rock festival. And it was called Woodstock. It was held on Max Yasgur’s farm in Woodstock, which is in upstate New York, over this weekend in 1969.
To remember this anniversary, this week’s playlist comprises performances from that wonderful weekend.
Crosby, Stills Nash and Young, Woodstock
Arlo Guthrie, Coming Into Los Angeles
Joan Baez with Jeffrey Shurtleff, Drug Store Truck Driving Man
Ten Years After, I’m Going Home
Joe Cocker, With A Little Help From My Friends
